This was a show held at NEO's "home" arena.  Even though its on the outskirts of Tokyo, it was a remarkably easy building to find.

The view from my seat

Kyoko Inoue vs Haruka Matsuo
IMG_0436.JPG (81054 bytes) As you can tell, I was really close to the ring.  Literally feet away from the ring.
IMG_0437.JPG (81798 bytes) Kyoko came out in her best leather and chainmail.
IMG_0438.JPG (99131 bytes) Matsuo had a pretty good chunk of support in the crowd.
IMG_0439.JPG (112298 bytes) But of course so did Kyoko.
IMG_0440.JPG (84211 bytes) Matsuo got pinned within 10 sec.  But she demanded, and got a rematch and took it to Kyoko.  Including climbing over me to get up to a high spot to splash Kyoko.
IMG_0441.JPG (76935 bytes) But it was not to be as the youngster got pinned for a second time by Kyoko.

Yuka Shiina vs Yuki Miyazaki
IMG_0445.JPG (79701 bytes) Shiina in her best FUBU-inspired shirt.  For some reason a lot of pictures I took came out really fuzzy.
IMG_0446.JPG (79913 bytes) Miyazaki with a rather lurid submission move.

Misae Genki vs Tanny Mouse
IMG_0455.JPG (87652 bytes) Miyazaki giving her partner, Tanny, moral support.
IMG_0456.JPG (73078 bytes) Genki taking it to Tanny.
IMG_0458.JPG (103518 bytes) Shiina, Miyazaki, Kyoko and Matsuo trying to root Tanny on.  But the more they rooted for Tanny, the more Genki beat the hell out of her.

Yoshiko Tamura vs Yuka Nakamura/Battle Royal
IMG_0464.JPG (87198 bytes) Nakamura was loaded for bear and snuck Tamura early.  But Tamura took control.  This was an extremely stiff match that saw some sickening strikes.
IMG_0466.JPG (83062 bytes) Tamura ended up winning in a match that I wish I had more pictures from.  Tamura got on the mic and said she wanted to have a Battle Royal.
IMG_0468.JPG (75223 bytes) Acute Sae came down and said she wanted special rules: If you got thrown to the floor UNDER the top rope, you got your face marked with a magic marker.
IMG_0470.JPG (86523 bytes) Chiaki Nishi then came down and said she wanted her buddy, Hello Kitty, to compete in the match.
IMG_0471.JPG (67333 bytes)IMG_0475.JPG (117019 bytes) Kyoko was the first to get the mark-up job.  Even Sae and Nishi got the treatment, even though they weren't in the match.
IMG_0478.JPG (93118 bytes) Poor Nakamura was still recovering from the main event.
IMG_0480.JPG (87265 bytes)IMG_0481.JPG (97393 bytes)
IMG_0482.JPG (89332 bytes)
The last person with a clean face was Matsuo.  Kyoko slowly walked over to her and told her it would be a good idea if she eliminated herself, which she promptly did.  Luckily enough, she eliminated herself right in front of me.  That allowed me to get some great pictures.
IMG_0483.JPG (76301 bytes) Even Hello Kitty got marked up.
IMG_0486.JPG (76972 bytes)IMG_0487.JPG (103763 bytes) When the real wrestling started, Shiina tried her version of the praying rope walk.
IMG_0488.JPG (101240 bytes) Champ Tamura was the first to be eliminated. Matsuo got her revenge by eliminating Kyoko.
IMG_0491.JPG (77406 bytes) Miyazaki was the winner by eliminating Tanny and Helly Kitty at the same time.
IMG_0492.JPG (76724 bytes) Nishi was able to save Hello Kitty before she suffered too much damage.
IMG_0495.JPG (88378 bytes) Miyazaki was really in a good mood at this show, joking and talking with people at ringside and in the ring.
IMG_0496.JPG (86027 bytes)IMG_0498.JPG (100263 bytes) Miyazaki collected her money for winning the Battle Royal, led the crowd in a little song, and then had to chase after her money when Tanny stole it.
