Last Days of Frankie Fly
This film gives Dennis Hopper the distinction of being in my first two Bad Movies of the Week. When you look at
the box, you see Michael Madsen, Keifer Sutherland,
Dennis Hopper and Daryl Hannah as a porn star. I
think the box also says its a crime drama in the style
of Pulp Fiction.
The only way its like Pulp Fiction is in the way it
copies Quentin Tarantino, and poorly at that. The
apex is reached when Dennis Hopper has a rambling 15
minute speech about absolutely nothing in particular.
Dennis Hopper is a complete loser in this film. We're
talking borderline retard but you're still
hoping he gets killed at some point, there is no real
redeeming quality for him.
Believe me if you rent this movie, you will be sorely
disappointed. The dialogue is miserable, there is
really no action to speak of and its just downright
lousy.
